Mike’s Hardware has been serving the needs of New Orleans residents and contractors for over thirty-six years. Since opening in 1981, the LaFleur family has grown the business by offering old fashioned personalized service along with a broad selection of products and services at competitive prices.
After Hurricane Katrina, Mike’s Hardware was the first business to reopen in the Gentilly area and has not looked back since. We continue to assist the residents and workforce in the rebuilding of the surrounding community and plan to do so for years to come.
With second generation family members now at the helm, Mike’s Hardware looks forward to serving your needs for generations in the future.
For several years, members of the MHS crew have frequently participated in countless charity cooking events and competitions. In addition to being the two-time champion of the DSAGNO Buddy Walk Jambalaya Cook Off, our cuisine has always been a crowd favorite at various events put on by Hogs For The Cause, NOTC, Each One Save One, Brother Martin High School, Hynes Charter School, Riverdale High School, and more.
We also enjoy cooking for our clientele during our customer appreciation events.
In 2012, Mike’s Hardware & Supply was selected to film a pilot episode for a reality TV show based out of a hardware store. Although the network didn’t pick up the show, they left us with a pretty neat video (Big Easy Hardware) of our business.
